He who cherishes a beautiful vision, a lofty ideal in his heart, will one day realize it. – James Allen (As A Man Thinketh)
Vision without action is a daydream; Action without vision is a nightmare. – Japanese Proverb
Do you have a clear vision of the goal you wish to achieve?
What do you PLAN to do to make that goal or vision a reality?
Yes, we need to focus on the end result and yes, we need to FEEL as if we already have what we wish for. But, you also need to implement practical plans and work toward the achievement of your goals.
If you keep working relentlessly toward realizing your vision, you most definitely can attain it. The question you need to ask yourself is this: “Am I really working toward my visualized goal, or am I just wishing it so?”
No one can just sit and daydream and accomplish all that is necessary to realize their goals. But it is just as important to have a crystal clear mental picture of yourself as you will be after you have reached your goal, after you have realized your vision.
It’s the same as planning any other trip. You must understand where you are, see where you want to be, and plan every step of the way to reach your goal.
This is discussed in great detail in “The Secret.” If anyone hasn’t seen or read “The Secret” yet, you MUST do yourself a favor and go devour it. The education into the workings of achievement of any sort, alone are a priceless resource.
I highly recommend it.
