Man, I love this business. Having the freedom to do what you want, when you want is amazing.

Today it was 68F here and I just HAD to play a little winter golf. I truly love the sport and feel that the personal competition is great. There are not many activities that test your focus and ability to handle minor defeats, more than golf.

I play EVERY stroke and count everything. I take every penalty and really try to test myself. You can put some big pressure on yourself and it is a terrific way to see how you cope with that.

I haven’t played in about a month so I was definitely rusty. I shot an 88 on a relative easy par 72. (I missed at least 4 puts that should of fell, but didn’t.) It was short, at about 6200 yards but, can be a little tight here and there. It was also a hilly course with great views.

I thoroughly enjoyed the time away from the computer. I use this time to think about goals and plans for the future for business. I got several excellent ideas and wrote them down on the scorecard to implement later.

What is so nice is having the freedom to be able to play when ever I want, for the most part, and not have to worry about bosses or losing money when I play.

In fact, while I was driving to the course I took a call from someone who was looking at one of my businesses. As we were on the phone, he said he just received an email from me. Man I love auto responders!

So, I hope all of you have a great day and enjoy what you have. If you aren’t happy where you are, Make it a GOAL to get to where you want to be. If you truly Believe in yourself and have that “burning desire” to reach your goal, you can NOT be stopped!
