A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval. -Mark Twain

Every person who has ever lived has acted contrary to that which he or she knew to be the right thing to do, by making a conscious decision to do the wrong thing. And every person who has taken that action has felt badly afterwards. We each must make our own decision whether or not we will do the right thing in any given situation.

When you intentionally do something that goes against your system of values or that hurts someone or do something that you know in your heart you should not do, how does it make you feel?

Can you truly justify those actions, or do you feel really uncomfortable until you somehow make it right? If you do not approve of your own actions, how can you possibly hope that others will approve of them? Do you approve of yourself? Are you comfortable? Or do you need to make adjustments in your life?

You need to analyze yourself and what you do on a daily basis and determine is this good for my future and if it is not, just MUST change immediately. Going through life with a poor self image or feeling about oneself is a truly destructive habit.

Yes, it is a habit that you have learned at some time in your past. Don’t focus or blame why this has become a habit, just make a habit to change it. To create a habit you must continue that behavior for at least 30 days.

Don’t look to the past to change your future. Only your present actions of today can do that. Focus on the present with the goal for the future in site and feel as is you are the better person you are becoming. In no time flat you will be there.
