Veterans Day

This should be the motto of the day:

“If you can read, thank a teacher; If you can read English, thank a Vet!”

I want to express my deepest thanks for all your hard work and sacrifice for our country.  My family and myself thank you from the bottom our our hearts.

It is unfortunate how many don’t fully understand, but what is great is that YOU understand and I thank you for that.

When you are out and about today thank a vet.  And make a commitment to yourself that the next time you are at an airport or train station or just around town, if you see a serviceman in uniform, simply say:

“Thanks for everything! “

I came across this recently from a high schooler, and it gives me hope in our future.

Freedom is not Free

by Ashley Persyn

There is a price we pay for freedom

For it is not truly free

But rather paid for by the contributions of veterans

To buy our liberty

As their blood drains from their body and runs like a river through the grass

Over the years it’s forgotten, war is placed in our past

I don’t think we all realize the importance veterans play

as they voluntarily serve America each and every day

We should honor the veterans for they act like a shield

Protecting us from danger, keeping America healed.

So if you would take a second to commemorate

You will instantly see

We owe veterans our gratitude

For they are the reason we are free

One Response to “Happy Veterans Day!”

  1. Hi Damian,

Thank you for your terrific material. Your first audio on “as a man thinketh, so he is” (Proverbs) was just outstanding. I’m re-reading Think & Grow Rich right now and I greatly appreciate your wisdom, honesty, and the faith you communicate via your business. Life is Short – Work & Play Hard! Charging For Our Families. Thanks Again.
