MyInternetBusiness Full Review & AnalysisThis is Damian Benko and I’ve been an active member in MyInternetBusiness (MIB), since it first launched in April of 2008.  When it launched it had some of the biggest hype and buzz I’ve ever seen come around an “automated online marketing business”.

The reason why I think is simply that it was spawned from a very popular company at the time called “Passport To Wealth” (PPTW).   There was also talk about how this new company would transform the online or internet marketing community and how it would shape the future of the industry.

Now, those were extremely big claims that I for one was a little skeptical.

Well, we are here just about a year later and I’d like to fully go through what has happened with the business and my own personal experience in it.  Since there is so much to cover I will be doing this in several parts.  Otherwise this blog post would be WAY too long and i don’t want to do that to you.

So consider this part 1

Let’s first go through how this whole thing started and the overall concept of this business.

It all started in late 2007.  Darren Gaudry owned a company called Passport to Wealth and was doing very well with it.  After he launched that in February of 2007 he decided to make it easier for his members to bring in sales.

He then outsourced a call center designed to help the members close their sales by implementing a new “call back request” feature on a new set of websites offered to the members.  This was done to bring leverage and outsourcing techniques to this business. (Great idea btw.)

This service was originally was called “Grow Rich Systems” (GRS), but the name was later changed to the “Passport Sales Center”.  The main reason was that people were getting confused between PPTW and Grow Rich Systems.

Well, fast forward to later in 2007 and Darren Gaudry and the owners of Grow Rich Systems, Rob Hannley and David Garven, were having discussions about a new company that would be above and beyond anything that was on the internet to date.

The idea was to have the ultimate one stop shop for Information Products, Online Marketing Training and Resources that would benefit everyone who was marketing anything online.

On top of this comprehensive resource center, the goal was to also create a lucrative and easily duplicated business model that would give everyone the chance to earn a fantastic income from the comforts of their own homes.

In a nut shell the plan was to create the mother of all home based, online marketing opportunities.

They would incorporate all the needed elements to give everyone the best chance of success possible.

That was the plan and in April of 2008 MyInternetBusiness.com was launched to a hungry and eagerly awaiting crowd of hopeful internet entrepreneurs.

So how did it go?

Well, the launch had some minor issues, as they all do, but overall was a fantastic success.

The amount of information and tools for the members were more than any other business on the market at that time and those involved were mostly all blown away…Including myself.

Now, the first few months were not all peaches and cream as there were still bugs and quirks to be worked out within the back office itself, but overall everything ran fairly smoothly.

People were signing up regularly and “My Internet Business” was starting to make a name for itself.

Everything was humming along smoothly…until one of the founders decided to leave the business to pursue other ventures…

Find out what happened in Part 2. (Sorry, but you’ll just have to wait.)
