Thank you for that.

It brought a tear to my eye and a pain to my heart. You see I live in NEW YORK and worked in the Towers I was in the city that horrible day and watched in utter horror as the buildings burned. I also lost 17 co-workers that day as well as a few good friends. We lost 11 people right from my community alone people I saw everyday and drank with on the weekends.not to mention all the firefighters and police officers who were killed trying to save whoever they could.
on that day ordinary people became heroes they answered the call.

It is very important to never forget that all these brave souls who fought and died and the ones that are still fighting to secure what they believe in which is the F R E E D O M of this country.

So on this Memorial day send out a blessing not only to our troops over seas but to those people who gave some that day and especially to those that gave all.

I must confess that I often let the holiday aspect of this day obscure the real meaning of Memorial Day.

This video certainly corrected my focus.

Living here in San Diego one cant go to far without thinking of our troops who have served and who is serving now.

The freedoms that we have must be recognized by our countries protectors, all of them!
